POSITIVE DOG TRAINING
Beachy Dogs will help you improve your dog's behavior and help strengthen your human-canine connection! Using the LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) approach, and incorporating consistency and patience your dog will learn favorable behaviors and pup manners! Training helps develop your dog's mind, improves their self-control, and helps them fit into our human society.
Puppy 101 - Starts March 23rd!

Socialize your puppy and start
on the "right paw":
We will cover problem behaviors like potty accidents, nipping, and chewing. We will also begin basic obedience cues, helping your dog prepare for routine events like grooming and veterinary visits, and appropriate puppy play.
Classes run for 6 weeks. Cost is $150 for the 6 sessions.

Dates: Mar 23, 30, Apr 6, 13, 27, and May 4, 2024
Time: 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm Central Standard Time (CST).
Puppy must have at least their first set of vaccinations. Puppies old enough must also have canine influenza and bordatella. Class for puppies age 12 weeks to 12 months.
NO CHOKE/PRONG COLLARS OR RETRACTABLE LEASHES ALLOWED.
AKC Canine Good Citizen - Starts March 23rd!
In partnership with
Bluegrass Pawsitive Dawg Training:
We will work together to develop your dog's ability to perform the required skills & manners to achieve the Canine Good Citizen achievement certificate. Elaine Carlson, CGC Evaluator & owner of Bluegrass Pawsitive Dawg Training will evaluate your dog's performance of cues. Upon completion, your dog will receive a certificate that certifies them as a Canine Good Citizen.
Cost is $225 and classes run for 6 weeks.

Time: 2:30 to 3:45 pm Central Standard Time (CST).
REQUIRED VACCINATIONS: Canine influenza, bordetella (within 6 months, Rabies, and DHPP.
Dogs should be able to tolerate other dogs and people. If not, call ahead to ensure arrangements for distance and visual barrier to assist your dogs learning and reduce stress. NO CHOKE/PRONG COLLARS OR RETRACTABLE LEASHES ALLOWED.
NEW - Therapy Dog Training & Certification
In partnership with
Bluegrass Pawsitive Dawg Training:
We will work together to acclimate your dog to a variety of settings and equipment. Upon successful evaluation, your dog will become a certified Therapy Dog with the Fort Knox American Red Cross Therapy Dog Team. AKC Canine Good Citizen certification is required for this group class.
Cost is $150 and classes run for 3 weeks, adding onto the AKC Canine Good Citizen group class.

Skills your dog will be evaluated on: loose-leash walking, sit-stay, down-stay, manners when left with another handler, recall, accept grooming/veterinarian touch, non-reactive to other dogs and people, placing on their mat, and more!.

Individual Private Training

Private Training is available by appointment. Fees are $50 for 1 hour (save and purchase 5 for $225) and $60 for 1.5 hours (save and purchase 5 for $275). Book online today!

Canine Agility & Activities - Returns Spring 2024

We will start with the obstacle course for fun,
and incorporate activities to keep your dog active and engaged. This class will help grow your human-canine connection and bring you both lots of fun! Dogs should know basic commands in order to get the most out of this class.
