Positive Dog Training

We offer Certified Positive Dog Training following the Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive (LIMA) approach The dog services industry is highly unregulated, making it crucial to understand the training and philosophy of your dog trainer. At Beachy Dogs, we NEVER use or recommend pinch, prong, choke, or electronic collars of any type. We use positive techniques and incorporate consistency with patience to teach you to train your dog favorable behaviors and pup manners! Training helps develop your dog's mind, improves their self-control, and helps them fit into our human society. The best part about training with your dog, you will feel a great bond with your canine companion and family member!

The required vaccinations to attend dog training are:
Bordetella, Canine Influenza, DHPP, and Rabies.

For all classes and private sessions, we do not allow retractable leashes since they pose an injury risk to dogs and people. Absolutely no pinch/choke, prong, or shock collars.
AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy - Class Begins

AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy is about much more than the basics of sit, down and recall. Whether you plan on eventually competing in events with your puppy, participating in therapy dog work, or simply having a well-mannered pup, this class helps set you and puppy for success.

This is an 8-week course and the cost is $220 (includes the AKC certificate fee). Payment is due in full at time of registration. No refunds.

AKC Canine Good Citizen - Class Begins
February 22, 2025!!

We will work together to develop your dog's ability to perform performance of required obedience cues & social manners to become a certified Canine Good Citizen.
This is an 8-week course & the cost is $260 (includes the AKC certificate fee). Payment is due in full at time of registration. No refunds.
